Summary
Cover art for From The Land Of Genesis. The book is a collection of short stories centered on veterans who’s lives were affected by the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The stories seek to bring awareness to the mental health struggles that soldiers face during and after serving. For the design, the author wanted to evoke the harsh realities that these soldiers faced in the line of duty. The large tree alludes to the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil, but a version that reflects the difficult knowledge that soldiers find in war. The soldiers march through an unforgiving heat and seek shade under the trees branches but find little relief.
